Cake Wrecks

There are a ton of hilarious blogs out there, but this one takes the cake--literally! Someone had the brilliant and unique idea to create a blog about cakes that have suffered from obvious human error. The result is a site that will have you giggling your way through the day and leave you wondering what goes through the minds of some of the bakers/cake decorators out there. I thought these three were especially chuckle-worthy:



Ha! The cakes on this site range from being horribly misspelled or absolutely hideous, to sometimes disgusting and incredibly distasteful. So if you're looking for a new place to find the funny and you're not easily offended, definitely check out this blog. It's like the old saying goes, "You know you want to, but you just can't tear your eyes away from a Cake Wreck."

Dress Up Challenge

Looking for a place to unleash your inner girly girl? Check out Dress Up Challenge.com! They've taken paper dolls to a whole new level! This site is a fun little way to destress after a long day or even just cure your run-of-the-mill boredom. There are new challenges every other day that encourage you to design an outfit based on a given topic such as, "Sitcom Stars" or "Travel Back in Time." After designing an outfit, you have the option of submitting it for your fellow DUCers to vote on. The page below shows an ongoing vote for a challenge titled, "Nanny to the Stars."

Also, every day that you log on there is a new gift added to your wardrobe. I think that's a pretty nice incentive to return, bored or not! TorsoPants

Not only have they created the most awesome synonym for 'shirt' that anyone can ever hope to think of, but TorsoPants also has a great assortment of witty tees jam-packed with dry humor. A couple of my favorites are:

When visiting their site, you'll discover that it's more than just another place to buy wordy t-shirts--it's a whole experience! I couldn't find a single area of the site that didn't make me laugh. TorsoPants had me cracking up at even the most insignificant details, such as the tiny print at the bottom of the page stating: "All Rights Reserved - Until you get a few drinks in them." Cheeky!
